Whilst learning to drive with Modern Driving Techniques, you will cover all aspects required to make you a safe driver as well as all covering all the topics required to pass the practical driving test.
The number of lessons required for you to pass will depend on your ability to learn and as a estimate, the national average is 45 hours tuition as well as 22 hours private practice. (Driving Standards Agency)

- Move away
smoothly and stopping safely
- Using gears and block changing
- Approaching junctions at the correct speed and emerging safely
- Dealing with a variety of roundabout
scenarios
- Hill and angled starts
Dual carriageways - joining, leaving and overtaking - Hazard perception and awareness of other road users (as required for the second part of the theroy test)
- Manoeuvres including:
- Turn in the road
- Reversing round corners
- Reverse bay parking
- Parallel Parking
- Emergency stop
